The charitable activity that HBW Group supported in Pakistan.

During July and September 2019, Dr. Gabriela Vasilescu and Dr. Francesco Ruffa embarked on two pivotal missions to Karachi, Pakistan, under the auspices of HBW Group. These missions were aimed at extending assistance to individuals enduring the aftermath of acid disfigurement, leveraging the transformative capabilities of Rigenera® Technology.

In a compassionate gesture, HBW Group donated 30 Rigeneracons® and Adipecons® kits, providing essential resources to address the needs of those affected by acid-related injuries. Additionally, the company procured a Handle Rigenera machine to support the mission's objectives and offer targeted treatment to selected patients.

Throughout these missions, a total of 18 patients, predominantly women with an average age of 25, presented with extensive burn scars predominantly on facial, neck, and décolleté areas, stemming from various sources such as sulfuric acid, kerosene, or fire-related incidents, whether deliberate or accidental. Many patients had previously undergone diverse medical interventions without experiencing significant improvements.

Rigenera® Technology emerged as a beacon of hope in this landscape of suffering, demonstrating remarkable efficacy in ameliorating the conditions of these individuals. Despite the profound trauma they endured, the application of this innovative technology offered a glimpse of optimism, empowering patients to reclaim their lives and envisage a brighter future beyond their harrowing experiences.
